Position Summary:

The Salesforce Administrator will play a vital role at Onapsis. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions. A thoughtful and streamlined Salesforce user experience leads to better data which is critical to using this database to make business decisions.  This role will own the user management experience as well as support tickets, training, and designing solutions that drive our business.

The Administrator should have a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, a desire to keep learning and should be comfortable liaising with users and enjoy learning new business processes in order to translate them into technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products.
  • Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration.
  • Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Maintaining the Sales cloud and CPQ, as well as building custom reports and dashboards.
  • Performing database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing.
  • Evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support.
  • Documenting processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.
  • Reviewing new processes and implementing them into Salesforce.
  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
  • User support tickets
  • Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
  • Monitor user adoption
  • User training and creating training materials

 Required Skills and Experience:

  • Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science would be advantageous.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator in a similar environment.
  • Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems.
  • Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration.
  • Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities.
  • Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access.
  • Knowledge of importing sales data and generating Salesforce reports.
  • Ability to provide Salesforce training and end-user support.
  • Proven project management ability
  • Excellent at meeting deadlines
  • Innovative and analytical thinker with solid problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to assess information from multiple sources and resolve conflicts
