The Salesforce Administrator for Onboarding will help support our evolving tech stack for our Onboarding Teams at Toast. This includes supporting and implementing salesforce compatible applications that enable our onboarding operations teams to be more efficient. In this role, the candidate should be a results driven and team oriented resource who leverages their business experience to add business value to support the future growth of the company. This successful candidate should possess extensive knowledge of Salesforce system administration and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have experience with the following:


  • User Setup and Licensing Control: You will complete user setup activities including licensing 3rd party tools where required
  • User Support: Act as front-line support to assist users with questions or troubleshoot any technical issues uncovered.  
  • Triaging: You will be triaging incoming requests to determine if escalation to the Business Systems Analyst or Development teams is required and assist in gathering requirements for standard changes
  • Implementation of 3rd Party Apps: You will provide salesforce administration support for providing requirements to Systems teams on specific needs for application integrations

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products
  • Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration
  • Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups
  • Importing sales department leads, contacts, and other data on an as needed basis
  • Maintaining all various parts of our SFDC ecosystem, as well as building custom reports and dashboards
  • Evaluating and enabling new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support
  • Documenting business processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables
  • Enable and configure SFDC 3rd party managed applications

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred
  • 3-6 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator in a similar environment
  • Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems including (but not limited to) TaskRay and Salesforce Field Lightening
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities
  • Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access
  • Knowledge of importing sales data and generating Salesforce reports
  • Ability to provide Salesforce training and end-user support
