Overview:

Within engineering, we are looking for a hands-on QA Manager to build, develop, and coach our talented QA team (currently at 9 engineers and growing). The hardware\firmware\software stack is complex, but exciting to tackle from a quality perspective. Help us solve these challenges! In this role, you will:

• Not boss, but rather lead the QA team forward
• Be a hands-on coach by leading by example
• Pragmatically work alongside each individual and scrum team - all the while, carefully balancing risk and delivery
• Support and drive the improvement of the end-to-end automation framework stack
• Help evaluate and select tools and systems, or develop in-house solutions to provide comprehensive test coverage
• Work alongside the appropriate teams to integrate and deliver a CI/CD solution
• Again, because its worth repeating - coach, mentor and build our critical QA team

About You:

• Years of experience leading strong QA teams
• Experience creating a comprehensive test strategy encompassing varying technical stacks
• Managerial experience over automation frameworks
• Strong grasp of a DevOps/IoT/microservices environment fueled by CI/CD pipelines
• Understands that QA is an engineering responsibility not an individual team's responsibility
• Excited to not have to be the gatekeeper of change, but rather the catalyst for improving our products & services
• Agile mindset
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced and open, collaborative environment
