We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Manager with cloud/network application and robotics experience to oversee a team of 6-10 QA Engineers as they design, develop and execute a test strategy to deliver our latest features and functionality with the highest quality for our customer:

• This individual will partner with other engineering managers, engineering directors, the head of software, and people across  6RS to execute our technical vision and roadmap
• Collaborate with the product team and understand customer needs to refine requirements and build innovative solutions
• Refine designs, review code, and share knowledge to keep our teams aligned and effective
• Grow the team through hiring and developing team members into future leaders of the organization

To succeed in this leadership position, you’ll need: 

• Strong organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Commitment to rigorous testing (we write lots of tests)
• Scrappy, yet thoughtful approach to problem solving
• Practical experience designing and developing scalable software 

Interest in working with a variety of technologies, including: 

• Robotics middleware (ROS)
• Process management
• Google Cloud Platform

Knowledge of: 

• Linux kernel / drivers
• Docker
• Interest in real-world applications for robots 
• Experience growing and leading a team of QA Engineers to test and validate software running on an embedded robotics platform
