Customers become hooked on Markforged from the moment they hold the stunning parts that come off of our printers. The print farm plays a critical role in creating and delivering those parts to a broad audience and demonstrating why Markforged is a great fit for the factory floor. Our print farm is a Digital Forge composed of every type of printer we make, boasting the widest range of materials, and cloud-connected via the most empowering 3D printing software around. As we look to put more parts in more people’s hands, we are seeking to add a print farm technician to our team in order to help run the Digital Forge at greater scale.

What will you own?

  • Operate metal and composite 3D printers and auxiliary equipment
  • Access parts through cloud software
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Expert-level printer maintenance
  • Support removal and assembly of printer components
  • Monitor print status, printer utilization and ensure efficient turnaround time for all print requests.
  • Report job status and part quality feedback through ticketing system
  • Pack parts and manage internal logistics
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and logistics partners

Important Note:

What you have:

  • BA or BS in Design, Engineering, Manufacturing or similar technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Familiarity with basic assembly tools, including arbor presses and soldering irons
  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing or related field
  • CAD experience (CSWA or similar preferred)
  • Experience with 3D printing (preferred)
  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing (preferred)
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar issue tracking system (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
