We are in the early design stage of rebuilding our core platform so strong vision, architectural, and project management skills are a must. You will report directly to the Director of Engineering, but you are the CEO of your team and have the autonomy to set the mission and drive it to completion.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Lead an agile team of engineers with ownership over a product central to PI’s success
- Work with key stakeholders to define and execute the product and technology roadmaps
- Coach your team members to improve their skills and progress through their career goals
- Track key metrics on team performance and experiment to continually improve them
- Enhance PI’s engineering brand to attract top talent to your team
- Identify skill gaps and fill them by growing existing team’s capabilities and hiring
- Enforce positive coding practices and own all aspects of your product’s technical and business performance
- Project manage so new work is executed in a thoughtful manner and rolled out to a large client base with no disruption in service
- Primary technologies include .Net backend and API layer with Angular and Node.js frontend, hosted in Azure Cloud

Just as our employees are threads in the cultural fabric of PI, THREADS is our framework for understanding our core values.
- Teamwork: Focus on the “we,” not the “me.”
- Honesty: Follow your moral compass.
- Reliability: Be someone others can count on.
- Energy: Be balanced, be energized.
- Action: Errors of action are better than errors of inaction. Be brave.
- Drive: Own it.
