Responsibilities:

  • Make strategic decision to manage risk appropriately
  • Identify and mitigate security risk
  • Manage security compliance initiative and liaise with Legal team
  • Drive the security auditing process
  • Create and implement various security controls as needed
  • Complete analysis of global security requirements and privacy concerns
  • Oversee projects and deployments with IT team to create transparent systems
  • Manage staff and guide them on career development
  • Define and manage Data Privacy Roadmap and processes for global implementation
  • Act as subject matter expert for application development teams to evaluate web application vulnerabilities and offer assistance in remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Oversee, manage, and track remediation activities
  • Collaborate with internal audit, external audit, and insurance teams to ensure the alignment on global delivery
  • Work closely with Support team to assure security compliance with GDPR and other international and US security standards

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of combined Cyber Security and Risk Control-related professional experience
  • Project management experience strongly preferred
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, CRISC, PMP or GSE a plus
  • Bachelor or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Application Development or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
