We are seeking a talented and self-motivated High Temperature Mechanical Engineer to participate in our furnace and high temperature equipment hardware development process. The ideal candidate will have experience developing production volume furnaces, high temperature ovens, or thermal processing equipment.
The High Temperature Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for:
- Participating in furnace and high temperature equipment architecture development
- Assessing risks in product requirements
- Designing technical solutions to product requirements
- Interfacing with vendors and subject matter experts
- Implementing test fixtures and proof-of-concept equipment as required
- Participating in verification and validation activities
- Presenting designs to technical and leadership teams
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in fast-paced technology and product development roles
- Demonstrated designs in equipment over 1000C
- Proven transition of technologies from R&D to production
- 10+ years in high temperature equipment technical roles
- Experience on cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or equivalent
