As a Hadoop Test Engineer, your focus will be on ensuring we achieve this mission of having a high quality product. You will experience using the application from a user-perspective and will become a power-user to understand how even the most advanced and bleeding edge functionality is intended to work.

Specifically for this role we are seeking someone with Hadoop testing experience. Our product is designed for Big Data so we need testers who are experienced working in such environments. We strongly desire someone with data science knowledge, and/or experience testing products in similar product areas (BI, analytics, data science) who can ramp up quickly on our complex product.

Main Requirements

• 4+ years real-world experience in software testing
• Hadoop experience
• Linux experience
• Experience testing REST APIs
• Excellent organizational, communication, writing and interpersonal skills. Should be self-directed and able to plan, organize and execute work tasks independently.
