Bison is seeking smart, curious, nice software engineers to join our tight-knit team, on-site in Boston, MA.

We’re looking for your help across our entire technology stack. Skill, aptitude, and cultural fit are valued above experience in any individual technologies/languages, but if you have knowledge in any of the following disciplines, you will be ahead of the curve:

• Python: Flask, SQLAlchemy
• Databases: SQL, Postgres, ORMs
• JavaScript: React, JQuery, Knockout, RequireJS and tons of other libraries
• AWS: EC2, RDS, VPC
• Keyed storage: Mongo, Redis
• CSS: SCSS
• Dev tools: Git, Vagrant, Fabric
• DevOps

Experience building and managing scalable production web properties with real-world users/clients is required for Senior level engineers.

As a Senior Engineer in our very flat organization, you'll work with individuals in every department of the company to define and craft new products and features for our platform, and to improve existing ones. You will have a large degree of independence and trust, but you won't be isolated; the support of the CTO, the Chief Architect, and every other technology team members is behind you. You'll bring your projects from initial conception through all the cycles of development: from project definition to development, debugging, initial release and subsequent iteration. You'll get credit and recognition for the solid work you do. We're a small team; every engineer contributes meaningfully to our products' success. You'll know how and why your work matters.

Engineers often travel between our Boston and Gothenburg, Sweden offices, to build unity and share inspiration across our organization. Team cohesion is a high priority.
