Senior Front-End Web Developer

We’re looking for a avid front-end web developer to join our website marketing team. In this role you will enhance our web presence by building best-in-class, lead-driving digital experiences across desktop and mobile. Your passion for development will shape the functionality of our website and give prospective customers the best web experience possible. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving web development trends and adoption of major code frameworks. You’ll create net new experiences via A/B testing and be the point person for website functionality.
- Responsibilities
- Own development of A/B testing roadmap and website functionality
- Stay up-to-date and encourage adoption of website development trends
- Drive development of interactive widgets, calculators and infographics
- Build cross-browser, cross-device experiences
- Create digital visualizations of restaurant data
- Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in website development
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with web technology terms such as synchronous/asynchronous loading, ajax, client side vs. server side, server caching, APIs
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and one or more major JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, Vue, React
- Proven track record debugging and QAing code errors with tools like Chrome Developer tools

- Experience with at least one major CMS platform (Hubspot, WordPress, Magento, Joomla, Drupal, etc.)
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile websites
- Experience working on a development roadmap through a project management tool (Trello, Asana, JIRA, etc.)
- Must be able to provide code samples or digital portfolio
- Passion for web development and track record of self-learning code languages

- Familiarity with SEO and UI/UX best practices
- Working knowledge of PHP & TWIG
- Experience optimizing code for speed
