Constant Contact is looking for a talented, motivated HTML/CSS developer to join our UX Templates Team. The Email Template Engineer will code, test, and troubleshoot HTML email templates that adhere to email rendering and marketing standards. The developer should also have an eye for design to identify industry trends, consult with designers on template designs, and provide alternative options for problematic design elements. The developer will be collaborating with the team and the Product Manager on completing business objectives.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years professional experience in coding. Experience in email development is a plus
• Strong knowledge of HTML & CSS
• Able to code and troubleshoot without WYSIWYG assistance
• Familiar with mobile techniques for both web development and email clients
• Knowledge of rendering variances across all email clients
• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Flexible and open to changes in requirements

Bonus Points for experience with:

• Samples of email/template code
• Version control - GitHub and/or others
• Operating on OS X - Using the Terminal with command line operations
• Adobe design collection product suite
• Running build tasks like Grunt
• Managing project tasks within JIRA
• Using Litmus Software email testing tools
