Mimecast is looking for a senior professional to create and manage a cyber threat intelligence program. You will provide global leadership in the intelligence gathering; curation; and the implementation of intelligence related solutions into our Mimecast products and services. In this role, you will also coordinate the production of intelligence briefings/insights; engage and advise business areas on intelligence best-practices; manage threat analysis procedures; assist in response activities; and collaborate with product management on the inclusion of intelligence into core Mimecast products.

• Manage and continue to build a Cyber Intelligence team
• Develop and maintain up to date threat analysis procedures 
• Establish and Operate the processes necessary to collect threat intelligence, analyze the data for patterns and actionable information, and create intelligence reports for other teams to consume
• Ensure threat analysts provide timely and customer-appropriate intelligence and briefings 
• Interface with stakeholders to drive a deep understanding of relevant threats 
• Lead projects to improve data collection and interpretation processes and initiatives regarding threat intelligence
• Monitor, research, analyze, brief, and develop mitigation for security threats 
• Maintain awareness of the latest emerging threats and exploitation vectors 
• Provide analysis to help protect Mimecast’s from advanced threats and create awareness of unique threats to our customer base 
• Work closely with other technical, forensic and incident management personnel
• Collaborates with Product Management to leverage core technologies and technical features across product lines to enrich and improve Threat Intelligence platform
• Represent Mimecast as a domain and product expert and evangelize Threat Intelligence with customers, Analysts, Sales and other internal teams within Mimecast 
• Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operational effectiveness 
• Obtain and share cyber security intelligence with security partners, vendors and law enforcement as necessary

• Significant intelligence experience (7+ years)
• Bachelor's degree required
• 5-10 years of demonstrated, forward-thinking, and relevant leadership experience in a complex business environment in the one of the following disciplines: Information Security, Data Analytics, Intelligence Analysis, Systems Engineering
• Experience working with customers, analysts, internal teams to influence product requirements, and make recommendations to prioritize and define market leading solutions 
• Demonstrated understanding of threat information gathering and analysis 
• Ability to engage with business stakeholders translating detailed analysis into relevant briefings 
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and identify priorities, work with cross-functional teams that will collaborate with other teams based around the world and be able to negotiate and gain buy-in on direction and priorities, and execute plans on schedule.
• Superb communication skills (written and oral) with demonstrated ability to convey complex concepts to all levels of an organization
• Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum

Desirable Skills:

• Industry certifications such as GIAC (specifically GCIH, GCIA, and GREM), CISSP and OSCP preferred. Formal Cyber Threat Intelligence training such as SANS FOR578 or Treadstone 71 a plus
