As a Product Designer for Accessories and Equipment at WHOOP you will create the future of wearable technology. You are a passionate, talented, and consumer-centric product designer who will lead the creation and evolution of our Accessory product line. You will create accessories and equipment that support WHOOP’s membership efforts through innovation, functionality, and compelling narratives.

This role reports to the Vice President, Apparel and Accessories.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Design all Accessory and Equipment products, with member-focused benefits and narrative-driven concepts.
• Lead collection from conceptualization, through design, development, and through production confirmation. 
• Review and brief all new potential materials (fabrics and trims), meet with vendors to drive innovation and newness.
• Research direct competitor landscape for opportunities and insight in regards to features, benefits, and price points. 
• Brainstorm on new concepts and contribute meaningfully to overall Apparel and Accessories Design approach and output.
• Collaborates closely with Apparel Design, Product Marketing, and Creative teams to deliver compelling end-to-end concepts and innovations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8-10 years of related experience
• Experience utilizing design platforms such as Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D Rendering Programs, InDesign, CAD Programs
• Strong knowledge of fabric, trims, and hardware. Knowledge of Packaging a plus
• Collaborative by nature, able to elevate the work of their peers and allow their own work to be elevated by others
• A high degree of technical knowledge balanced with creative ability and a hands-on approach.
• Experience working with and partnering with factories overseas
• Highly organized and eager to work in a fast-paced, boundless business
