You’re someone who’s equally comfortable leading a concept session for a new campaign, critiquing the narrative in our nurture flows, or developing creative executions for our omni-channel marketing efforts. 

You’re passionate, proactive and know how to work effectively both within and across teams. You’ll be working as both a team lead and an individual contributor, creating world-class designs while mentoring other designers on the team. 

You have a strong design review process and are able to gather and prioritize feedback to deliver on a high-impact design. You work well with your cross-functional team and stakeholders to understand needs and explain your design choices. You gain the trust of everyone around you by speaking the same language. You’re comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively with a team.

You love the challenge of creating great work within a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment. You understand the value of a strong and differentiated brand, but can also move quickly, at the chaotic pace a fast-growing startup requires.

What you'll do

• Lead creative development across channels of innovative brand creative, from concept to delivery, in partnership with Marketing functions — often with feedback from Sales, Product, and other functions.
• Conceptualize and co-develop compelling integrated marketing campaigns that drive results, partnering with different Marketing functions. 
• Quickly develop concept mockups to visualize new ideas in context.
• Understand and respond to feedback with accuracy and empathy, developing designs and templates that will help to make the Catalant, especially the Marketing team, successful.
• Mentoring and leading internal and external creative team members, including agencies & contractors.
• Provide design feedback to team members with sensitivity and honesty, helping them to grow and develop their skills.
• Ensure our designs are created with marketing campaign and usability requirements in mind.
• Work with marketers and product designers to ensure visual and messaging consistency across all touch points, including our website, emails, digital ads, events, and other brand collateral.
• Present creative concepts effectively to senior executives and other team members.
• Develop scalable design processes and best practices, gain buy in with the team and then roll-out, including owning curation and quality assurance for templates.
• Build strong relationships throughout the company in an effort to unify our narrative and amplify our brand across touch points.
• Research competitors, trends, patterns and best-practices, visual/interaction design inspiration, user and business insights.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience driving compelling creative strategy and execution.
• A portfolio demonstrating multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns - please add your online portfolio link at the top of your resume when you apply.
• Deep digital experience and capabilities across multiple screens and media.
• Highly proficient in Adobe CC and an expert in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong conceptual skills and ideation.
• Solid project management, superb communication and strong leadership skills.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience driving compelling creative strategy and execution.
• A great attitude and a lack of ego.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

• Experience working for a SaaS or tech-enabled marketplace company.
• Hands-on experience working with Wordpress and WPBakery Page Builder.
• Video animation chops, especially using Adobe After Effects.
• Experience planning and directing photoshoots and working with agency partners.
• Have strong bias for action in a fast-paced, metric driven environment.
• Strong ability to present and discuss creative work.
