We are looking for an E-Learning Script Writer who will partner with our content team to storyboard engaging e-learning courses that improve the knowledge and competency of learners both inside and outside of the organization. CrunchTime! develops three types of e-learning courses: courses that train our customers to use CrunchTime! software, off-the-shelf “library” courses that improve competency of employees in the restaurant industry, and custom courses developed for specific customers

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes principles of instructional design to write e-learning scripts and storyboard the interactivity and graphic approach for courses.
• Collaborates with the CrunchTime! content team on peer reviews, online reviews, troubleshooting unexpected course behavior, and ongoing process improvement.
• Assesses, researches and recommends topics for inclusion in CrunchTime’s course library.
• Works with SMEs when needed for script development.
• Works with customers periodically on script development, consultation on their training methodology and review of their courses for recommended changes or improvements.
• Monitors changes in laws and regulations that may require changes or updates to the course library.
• Stays abreast of key trends in Adult Learning and instructional design and integrates them into training solutions.
• Assists customer success and sales teams in providing prospects and customers with preview access for courses.
• Assists with installation and maintenance of courses on the CrunchTime Learning Management System.

Requirements:

We need someone who loves training and will do whatever it takes to help our learners develop quickly, through courses they enjoy taking. Necessary qualifications include:

• Demonstrated expertise in the application of Adult Learning theory and methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Formal and working knowledge of all levels of the instructional design process.
• Graphic design experience is an advantage.
• Experience with the restaurant industry is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in an e-learning script writing or storyboarding role.
• Strong ability to present complex concepts and information in an easily understandable format.
• Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and operate under tight deadlines.
• Equally confident working independently or as part of a team.
