The Role & Our Team
We are looking for a hands-on, collaborative and business focused Instructional Designer who will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of learning solutions in support of a wide variety of Agero programs and business initiatives.
Key Outcomes for the Role:
- Lead and/or assist in formulating learning design decisions
- Articulate story lines and demonstrate in depth knowledge of adult learning
- Engage with business unite SMEs to ensure the accuracy of all learning content
- Develop learning solutions using a variety of tools including e-learning software (Adobe Capitvate, Lectora), virtual learning platforms, and standard Agero templates
- Design assessments
- Deliver platform training as required by business needs
On the Job:
The Instructional Designer is responsible for the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of learning solutions in support of a wide variety of Agero programs and business initiatives.
In partnership with other members of the Agero Learning and Development team, the Instructional Designer will design and develop innovative learning solutions that meet specific business needs. Solutions will focus on improving associate performance and/or providing a greater ROI for the Agero business. The role has significant interface with many levels of the organization and must be able to build and maintain strong business relationships.
About You...
What we're looking for in you:
EDUCATION: College Degree or equivalent work experience. Formal training in Instructional Design, job aid design, adult learning theory, delivery systems and evaluation techniques.
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of experience designing and developing adult learning programs. Proven experience working in or supporting a dynamic high volume service or sales organization where flexibility is a core skill. Strong experience project managing the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs and initiatives. Experience using e-learning and distance learning tools required.
SKILLS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated technical writing skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software. Ability to create computer based training and E-learning. Creative ability and visual graphics design ability.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Extensive internal contacts, training and associate development at all levels of Agero.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to travel up to 20%
