Designer – Lifecycle Marketing
Responsibilities
The designer will be a member of the Creative team with a dedicated focus on the various channels of our Lifecycle Marketing communications. The successful candidate will develop campaigns and creative executions across Lifecycle Marketing channels to build the DraftKings business and brand. Specific areas of focus:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand and work on problems of moderate scope where design execution requires a review of a variety of factors
- Works with Creative Director and Design Director to establish and execute on creative vision for project
- Conceptualize and design promotional assets including (but not limited to) landing pages, logos, mobile app merchandising, digital banners and emails
- Create layouts applying design principles such as color, typography, organizing elements and usability
- Become an expert on brand and strategic marketing goals
- Stay current on marketing trends, best practices and emerging tech
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has the following key attributes: creativity, collaborative spirit, confidence, initiative and enthusiasm. Specifically,
- 2-5 years design experience
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience developing award-winning creative for major consumer facing brands
- Demonstrated understanding of modern marketing (digital, mobile first, experiential & social)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to roll-up sleeves and get the work – big and small – done
- Avid sports fan and fantasy sports enthusiast
- Experience working on lifecycle marketing, specifically mobile heavy, a strong plus
- Agency experience a plus
