Creative Director, Brand & Promotions
DraftKings is seeking a Creative Director focused on Brand and Promotions assignments.The successful candidate will lead creative teams in the development of conceptual ideas/themes and content for DraftKings sports that brings to life our positioning as “The Game Inside the Game.” Specific areas of focus include:
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative campaigns for brand and promotional campaigns that live across channels including: Digital, Social, OOH and CRM.
- Lead creative teams in the development of sellable ideas our Ad Sales team can pitch to potential partners.
- Develop ideas for brand experiences, activations and events.
- Strike the balance between brand and acquisition/retention messaging.
- Establish an authentic “fan-to-fan” tone to build relationships with our target.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has the following key attributes: creativity, collaborative spirit, confidence, initiative and enthusiasm. Specifically,
- 10+ years experience
- Proven track record leading either in-house or agency creative teams
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience developing award-winning creative ideas for major B-to-C brands
- Demonstrated understanding of modern marketing (digital, experiential & social)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to roll-up sleeves and get the work – big and small – done
- Avid sports fan and fantasy sports enthusiast
- Agency experience a plus
