Creative Designer - Employee Experience

The People Team is seeking a designer who can help us bring our brand to life across all of our employee touchpoints. You will be laser focused on a team dedicated to employee experience to design digital and print communications for our growing culture & employer brand. This roll* will work collaboratively across the people organization to help shape the way we tell stories both internally and externally about our people programs and our Toasters.
You’ll be working on a team of passionate storytellers excited to have a partner to bring these stories to life visually. The ideal candidate will have experience designing assets across a customer journey, and demonstrate the ability to work on large scale projects across a growing team. Responsibilities
- Contribute to marketing design efforts across all forms of media and communication, leaning more heavily on digital design.
- Develop resources, guidelines, and templates that empower the people team to create meaningful brand expressions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including copywriters, designers, learning & development, employee experience and event managers to build and maintain visual brand excellence for a wide range of design needs
- Understand our employee base, culture and values to help inform your design direction
- Be able to communicate and present design solutions to key stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a designer
- Expertise in Figma and Adobe suite
- Experience working with business and marketing stakeholders; receiving feedback, and adapting work
Preferred Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Experience working on design projects of all sizes; ability to design according to business and technical requirements and comfort with ambiguity and changes in direction
- Good understanding of digital marketing (Email, paid social, display channels) and best practices
- Proven track record of leveraging data and insight to inform design decisions
- Passion for restaurants and the food community
- Nice to have: Video production skillset
