Machine learning is eating the world. At PathAI, we're applying it in amazing ways to pathology, healthcare, and detecting cancer and other diseases. We're applying our work to drug development, the clinical space, and as a global health initiative. For us, it's early days – there’s more than enough work to go around, and our machine learning team needs a savvy web developer to help with tasks like internal tools, storing and visualizing data, and optimizing the machine learning workflow.

We're looking for a capable and flexible web developer to join our team and help wrangle some of these challenges. If you're the right candidate, you'll flex all your webdev muscles:

• Build web applications from soup to nuts – handling everything from databases to the front-end – to give the machine learning team everything they need to succeed.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across teams to improve the user experience of the machine learning platform, including product managers, designers, scientists, and engineers.
• Contribute to company-wide initiatives as needed, helping draw the best customers and candidates to PathAI.

This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to gain more industry experience with web development and design.

Requirements

• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, light Javascript, Python/Django, and databases like Postgresql
• A portfolio or website that shows your skills and interests
• Previous startup experience a major plus

• Education. Generally, a bachelor's degree is really helpful in working with our team on this kind of work. But feel free to convince us if you're the exception.
