Zipcar is looking for a Vehicle Claims & Operations Analyst that has what it takes to work  with a cross-functional team and make a direct impact on our operation’s flow. What you’ll do:

• Serve as the Zipcar Operational subject matter expert by supporting our fleet operations, member services, and supply chain teams with incident details and provide status on additional information or documentation; serve as the main contact to our third-party administrator (TPA), Sedgwick.
• Develop and provide weekly reports on activity to include accident counts, claims trends and member status; update records of accidents/incidents and details of actions taken as needed.
• Work with data team to analyze trends and provide actionable feedback to reduce overall risk profiles and claims activity for locations and members.
• Conduct audits of open and closed VDC claims being handled by the TPA and provide guidance and feedback to ensure procedure adherence.
• Recommend improvements to policies and procedures to optimize workflow; train and support other internal and external teams on Zipcar specific tools and procedures.

What drives success for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum two years of relevant experience, ideally at a company in a related field (insurance, transportation, or logistics) or equivalent translatable experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and process skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and articulate ideas, results, and recommendations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required; comfortability with working across multiple proprietary software systems and willingness to learn new systems
• Ability to prioritize work independently, ensuring accuracy while meeting deadlines
