We are looking for a Transportation & Logistics Specialist to build and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company. This individual will coordinate personnel, processes, and parts to support new customer deployments and field service activity. The ideal candidate should have great attention to detail and a customer-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process and coordinate activity between deployment, field service, manufacturing, hardware, and our contract manufacturing partner
  • Develop and manage “hot swap” process for our robots
  • Support the field service team ensuring they have the right parts and spares to reduce robot downtime
  • Coordinate with freight services companies for on-time shipment delivery. Negotiate pricing agreements with UPS, FedEx, and LTL services
  • Coordinate and track supply chain operations between our contract manufacturer, third-party warehouse, and customer sites
  • Analyze, track and report spare parts inventory at customer sites
  • Supervise orders and arrange safety stock levels
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for logistics activities

Nice to Have

  • Experience developing or using logistics IT tools to optimize and streamline procedures
  • Able to create and track KPIs across different logistic and supply chain functions
  • Able to implement process improvement by conducting root-cause analysis
  • Experience creating manufacturing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Planning experience including participation in SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning)

Requirements

  • BSc/BA in manufacturing, supply chain management or relevant field. 1-2 years of professional experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a customer facing role
  • Strong team player who works hard towards reaching team goals. Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Demonstrated strong desire to develop professionally
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of ERP systems. Advanced use of excel
