We are looking for the Strategy Analyst to join the Toast Payments Strategy team with a specific focus on Toast Payments enablement. S/he will focus on Toast Payments enablement in partnership with Sales, Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, and Product Teams. S/he will develop a data-driven approach to execute Payments enablement strategy from planning and development, implementation to measurement and ongoing iteration.
The Roll*:
- 75% Payments Enablement: Assuming ownership of the Payments Enablement program at Toast from onboarding through continuing education for Sales and Restaurant Success teams. This includes evaluation of current program, creation of new programs, and ongoing measurement of impact and effectiveness in partnership with the Toast Payments teams and Sales Enablement.
- 15% Market Evaluation & Positioning: Keep a pulse on the payments processing industry and become an expert in the alternatives. Develop a strong partnership with the Sales team to understand the market from the ground-up and gather feedback/derive insight from the “feet on the street”. Help determine how to position Toast Payments in partnership with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement teams and maintain associated collateral
- 10% Customer Experience: Help identify and uncover opportunities to delight customers within Toast Payments
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales process and become a subject matter expert regarding Toast’s payment solutions
- Partner with the Sales and Restaurant Success Enablement teams to manage and facilitate a Toast Payments continuing education program
- Help craft and implement a superior customer experience unlike any other offered in the payments industry today via Payments Enablement
- Partner with Product Marketing to define and manage the vision, positioning and overall strategy of Toast Payments
- Utilize a consultative relationship approach to embed Toast Payments understanding at all levels within an organization, particularly Sales
Do you have the right ingredients?
- 1-3+ years of experience in an operations, analytics, and/or finance role
- BS/BA in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related fields
- Advanced Excel & Powerpoint skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; extreme attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a high growth, fast-paced environment
Bonus Ingredients:
- Experience in a high growth tech company
- Data analysis programming languages a plus
- Prior experience of payment processing or credit card industry
- Experience using Looker and Salesforce, especially reporting
