Senior Supply Chain Analyst

We are presently seeking a talented and self-motivated analyst to work in our Operations department supporting Special Projects. The ideal candidate will have relevant Supply Chain project experience driving key initiatives in a focused and data driven manner.

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Supporting strategic projects and initiatives to improve Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes and products
    • Examples include - Cost Down, Global Expansion, Data Analytics & Forecasting
  • Working collaboratively with Product Mgmt, Engineering and Operations teams to ensure alignment in project goals and deliverables
  • Identifying and implementing cost reduction measures through both sourcing and design opportunities
  • Identifying and evaluating new suppliers to support company’s global growth needs
  • Data compilation and reporting to provide status updates on supply chain activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of applicable Supply Chain experience
  • Demonstrated depth in electrical and mechanical components applicable to Desktop Metal’s products
  • Experience with the transition of technologies from R&D to volume production
  • Demonstrated project management and reporting skills
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
  • Experience and comfort working in both fast-paced Development and Manufacturing environments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management

  • Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing
  • Commodity Management
  • Contract Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Supplier evaluation and audits
  • Applicable Supply Chain certifications and training
