As a pivotal member of the Product Engineering team, you will design and build the next generation of our data platform that delivers integrated data and guided analytics using commercial and clinical data to help improve the efficiency of the healthcare ecosystem. While working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment, including dedicated UI/UX experts, you will have the autonomy to build solutions that resolve complex data problems and bring to market enterprise grade products offering consumer class experience and design.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build the next generation of our data pipeline in a microservices architecture
  • Enhance and modify data processing applications to ensure best practices, performance, scalability, security, and optimal user experience
  • Research, design, and develop proof-of-concept projects using the latest and most advanced technologies
  • Efficiently communicate project status, issues, and resolutions in a timely manner
  • Ensure services are built for performance, scalability, fault tolerance, and security with reusable patterns
  • Develop technical design, architect to process, extract, cleanse, integrate, organize, and present data from a variety of sources and formats for analysis and use across use cases

Position Requirements

  • Mastery of object-oriented techniques, design patterns, and software integrations
  • Eager to build great applications and attack difficult problems in creative ways
  • Enthusiastic to learn new skills, technologies, and techniques
  • Proven ability to design, develop, implement, and deliver high-quality code in a timely manner
  • Ability to work well as part of a small, highly focused development team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral

Required Skills

  • Experience architecting and building with Data Warehousing, Data Management, and Master Data Management related technologies
  • Experience with No SQL database technologies
  • Strong understanding of master data and metadata management and demonstrated experience and knowledge of multi-tier architectures.
  • Interest and understanding of CI/CD process and tools, testing frameworks, and practices
  • Writing tests for code quality, reliability, and coverage

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with C#
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Strong experience delivering analytic and reporting solutions to meet business needs
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of SQL and NoSQL development techniques and complementary business layer and front-end technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills to earn support of business leaders, technology leaders, and colleagues

Education / Experience Requirement

  • Bachelor™s of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or any other related academic discipline.
  • 10+ years proven experience working as a software engineer in diverse environments.
