Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Corporate FP&A, this Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will support our business intelligence team by spending their time processing a high volume of data and creating management level reporting using SQL and Tableau. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with both finance professionals and our warehouse and analytics engineering team. You must have the ability to understand a request or issue expressed by the business, digest the information and design/implement the appropriate solution.
Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Corporate FP&A, this Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will support our business intelligence team by spending their time processing a high volume of data and creating management level reporting using SQL and Tableau. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with both finance professionals and our warehouse and analytics engineering team. You must have the ability to understand a request or issue expressed by the business, digest the information and design/implement the appropriate solution.
Responsibilities:
- Creating, updating, maintaining financial reporting data architecture
- Work with financial analysts to diagnosis problems, and identify trends
- Design and implement ETL flows for transactional data from our internal systems and third party partners
- Understand the source systems and source data in detail and become a SME
- Troubleshooting of critical processes
- Ad-hoc reporting support
- Updating and maintaining SSIS packages that transfer data between our various systems (Workday, SQL, Hyperion)
- Updating and maintaining SSRS reports
Skills: 5+ years of combined experience in all of the items listed below
- Database Programming (Snowflake, Hive, SQL Server, Oracle SQL)
- Statistical Analysis Tools (R, SAS, etc.)
- Reporting/Visualization Tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Advantage for applicants with Anaplan, ASP, or .NET knowledge
- Proficiency in writing queries, scripts and stored procedures in SQL
- Ability to communicate and work with both technical and non-technical team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, teamwork, and issue resolution
- A problem-solving mindset; the individual should be highly motivated and self-directed
- Hands on experience with ETL tools (SSIS)
- Knowledge of SSRS reports
Education: BS or BA (or equivalent) in computer science, finance, or accounting.
