We are hiring a Research Scientist to help analyze our experiments, models, and data sets. As part of the Research Team, in particular the data research group, you will work at the intersection of research, product, and engineering. Your data analysis will be crucial contributions to our research goals and shape the direction of the company as a whole.

Strongly Preferred Skills & Background: 

• PhD in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics
• or MS in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics and 3+ years experience
• Track record of excellent work established through publications
• 5+ years experience in data analysis and/or machine learning 
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Excellent data visualization and communication skills
• Ability to iterate and deliver on new ideas quickly
• Eager to test new technologies and learn new skills
• Experience working with broad datasets in variable format
• Comfortable operating and developing in a Linux environment
• High degree of self-motivation and initiative

Also Helpful: 

• Experience designing and building autonomous vehicle systems
• Industry experience, particularly in a startup environment
• Experience with human annotator data 
• Understanding of deep neural networks
• Experience with neuroscience, cognitive science, or other brain sciences 
• Previous work in a team on large-scale Python projects
