Procurement Data and Insights Consultant - Remote Eastern Seaboard
The Opportunity
As our local procurement data and insights expert, you will be the Procurement Team's “Go To” for critical Procurement data and information. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to help develop fellow team members by providing support, training, and mentoring on our data applications.

This is an exciting time to join our Procurement Team. We are currently undergoing a transformation of our Procurement function to become best in class for contract lifecycle management and Source-to-Pay processes.
The Impact
The Data & Insights Consultant will collect, clean, maintain and analyze all relevant procurement-related data to provide business insights and trends which may be leveraged by their peers for sourcing, category management, supplier diversity and for tracking relevant industry/price or supplier relationship management.
Key responsibilities for this critical role include:
Support cost savings or cost avoidance by creating analytics or other automation solutions to deliver (semi) automated and customizable reporting at scale
Translate complex business questions into problems that can be solved through data to drive growth and profitability
Support strategy and procurement optimization processes by providing data insights measuring procurement and supplier performance and providing recommendations for actions
Perform procurement analytics to deliver actionable insights to larger procurement team to enable significant business impact
Ability to use advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, statistical principles/methodologies and techniques to improve business outcomes
Strong written & oral communication, and collaboration skills that enable clear and concise communication of data issues and analyses that can be understood by a broad audience
Collect and analyze internal data such as spend and customer requirements, historic spend data, and trends and patterns
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners
Create and communicating KPI reports on a regular basis based on a defined list of KPIs
Serve as a single Point of Contact for category/sourcing managers and functional leads for providing category-specific spend reports
Strong analytical and conceptual skills linking issue resolution to process improvement
Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, including business process metrics and measures linking to business key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ability to incorporate Procurement applications and tools (like Ariba) to enable, improve and scale procurement reporting process across the organization
Deliver ad hoc requests, special projects, reporting, and status inquiries
Develop and conduct user training on analytical tools and dashboards
The Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience working with procurement
Expertise in data and analytics
Proficient at developing reporting
Experience with SAP Ariba & Spend Visibility
The Ideal Qualifications
8+ years of experience working with procurement
4+ Expertise in data and analytics
Experience with Archer, Ariba, Process Unity, Access, MS Office, Tableau and iCertis
Knowledge of S2P processes
Knowledge of data science
Data Modeling experience
Proven experience with complex statistical predictive modeling, strong story telling skills to deliver actionable insight.
Ability to lead vendor data ingestion through sftp and API, experience with designing analytics
Experience in prototyping and developing reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Microstrategy

Salary Range: $111,300.00 - $146,400.00
