The People Analytics Strategy Consultant shall be responsible for:
 

• Acting as a consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key HR partners in collaboration with other members of the people analytics team.
• Leveraging available tools, to drive analytics and enable client self-service on routine queries.
• Preparing educational material for various clients to promote self-service.
• Demonstrating expertise in creating dynamic and high-end visualization to communicate data story effectively.
• Demonstrating expertise in conducting statistical research on People data and providing future-looking analysis and insights.
• Demonstrating expertise in end-to-end storytelling from data, presenting and communicating effectively to stakeholders.
• Providing people reporting and analytics support to a wide variety of clients by creating reports and dashboards, supporting ad-hoc reports, and providing support in targeted deep-dive analyses.
• Providing data to external vendors such as survey information and maintaining documentation for various reports, processes, and data quality, and updating them based on changes.
• Researching and identifying system requirements. Creating functional specifications and develops application design. Creating and executing test plans and ensures that the implemented solutions meet vendor requirements as well as internal solutions for Human Resources data management.

In order to qualify you must have:

• A Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of experience in analytics, 3 years in people analytics. Experience working directly with Visier preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of programming skills, mathematical, or technical principles, and in-depth, experienced-based cross-functional knowledge.
• Superior detail orientation, critical thinking, organization, and analytical skills.
• Strong skills in managing multiple competing projects simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a broad set of clients across the business, spanning multiple levels.
• Facilitation of group information needs and translating those needs into specifications that outline data system requirements.
• Ability to balance and discern detailed requests from clients while thinking strategically and holistically about underlying goals/needs.
• Familiarity with information system capabilities and trends and a working knowledge of the PeopleSoft HCM modules, including PeopleSoft security and trees.
• Demonstrated experience applying statistical concepts such as regression modeling, causal inference/quasi-experimental methods, data transformation, etc.
• Proficient in quickly understanding new technologies, with the ability to train others on the use of technology platforms.
• Strong expertise in visualization techniques.
• Experience in SQL, MS Access, or database design.
• Experience with Visier or other BI tools such as Tableau or MS Power Business Intelligence is highly desirable.
• Proficient Microsoft Office Skills.
• Work well in a dynamic, complex organization and team-focused environment with minimal oversight and an agile mindset.
