We are searching for someone to join our growing Operations Insight team and improve the performance of our robotic warehouse automation system. This person will bring data analysis knowledge and hands on industry experience to dive into the data and work with customer operations to identify improvement opportunities. The position would also support technical operations, product management, and sales functions. Ideal candidates are capable of working with complex and ambiguous problems by creatively utilizing the large amounts of data to generate actionable insights. Candidates should be comfortable using visualisations to extract useful observations from large data sets. We need a fast learner and self-starter that is willing to further the analytics reach of the organization.

Key Activities

• Develop dashboards that provide visibility into the operations of current systems
• Experiment with models, simulations and even live full scale warehouses to help prove out improvement opportunities
• Work with product management to prioritize features based on impact to the system
• Work with the solutions team to analyze prospective customers data as part of the customer’s system design
• Build tools for analyzing system data to provide to other less technical teams

Position Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in engineering
• At least 1 year (not including internships) of work experience either in data analysis or an operational environment; work in consulting and/or enterprise software is also desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with fluid priorities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Skilled at answering technical questions in a friendly and encouraging manner
• Familiarity with SQL, python and data visualization tools
