The Director, Business Intelligence solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Director, Business Intelligence requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.

Responsibilities

The Director, Business Intelligence for Humana’s Digital channel organization leads a team that uses data to assist in decision-making and solving complex business problems.  This leader will lead a team within the Humana Digital channels organization to drive the tools, technologies, applications, and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. Major decisions in this role are typically related to supporting the implementation of updated programs or large-scale projects.  This role also must embrace and contribute to Humana’s Agile methodology of working, including the importance collaborating with other analytic areas across the business towards ensuring alignment to enterprise efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 plus years’ experience working in analytics and business intelligence
• Knowledgeable in process improvement and metrics development
• Experience developing scorecards
• 5 plus years’ leadership experience
• Data Driven is a must
• Familiarity with contract negotiation, and interpretation
• Ability to anticipate and be proactive around next steps in large initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• Experience in a Digital organization that manages websites, mobile apps, or similar
• Experience with common Digital analytics and BI software packages
• Experience in Healthcare
• Data architecture and knowledge of developing visualizations
