TripAdvisor is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to work on our Viator brand, home to over 300K bookable experiences worldwide. In this role, you will solve Viator's most complicated problems. Your work will have a direct impact on our traveler’s experience and on our business operations and will have high exposure to senior management.

What you will be doing

• Focus on driving loyal Viator customers through relevant messaging, content, recommendations, and incentives

• Build quick solutions to solve immediate business challenges with the opportunity to iterate when you demonstrate value

• Be creative and efficient in building models (find the simplest logic that solves most of the problem)

• Lead data science projects from concept to implementation: explore data, build and productize models & coordinate model deployment and integration into the business

• Work with other teams to review project specifications and drive project work

• Work with other teams to develop new, or enhance existing, products and opportunities

What You Already Have

• An interest in leveraging data to make a measurable impact on business performance

• 3-5 years’ in an analytical role

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field; Master's degree a plus

• Expert in SQL; Python a plus

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences of various backgrounds, levels and function
