We’re looking for a passionate Data Quality Analyst to join our Data Governance team to help build a culture of data-driven decision-making across the company.

You’ll work across Snyk, identifying what quality means to each team, developing reporting to highlight data quality issues based on requirements, and working to resolve those issues.

You know how to make sure data is accurate, well-organized, and accessible. You’ll use that knowledge to collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape the tools and infrastructure we use to support the data quality needs of our business. 

You’ll spend your time:

• working with teams to identify what quality data means to them
• building accessible and intuitive data quality dashboards based on those requirements
• reviewing and validating collected data from internal and external sources
• reorganizing and connecting data from different datasets
• enabling teams to measure, track, and monitor against their data quality objectives
• evangelizing data use and continuous data quality improvement across the company

You should apply if you:

• care deeply about helping others make data-driven decisions and improving their data quality
• have prior experience with data quality/business intelligence reporting
• have an “insight-ready” mindset: you don’t just report the data, you generate insights & provide business recommendations  
• are comfortable with prioritizing and managing multiple projects at once
• can translate business objectives/questions/problems into technical requirements
• have strong SQL skills, experience in querying large, complex data sets (Must)
• have excellent knowledge of Google BigQuery, Looker (or similar BI tools) and Google Analytics
• have experience delivering BI-related or data quality training to end users 
• are organized, collaborative, hands-on, self-motivated, and a an open communicator
• are at your best when you’re working with data flows
• are comfortable working in a globally distributed team across several time zones

We’d especially love to hear from you if have:

• 5+ years in analytics and business intelligence roles
• a working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• SaaS experience
• experience working to a data quality standard (e.g. ISO 8000)
