As part of the core Business Intelligence team, the Business Intelligence Analyst will have immediate impact as the liaison for all cross-functional data reporting projects. This role will be hands-on, working collaboratively and cross-functionally to gather BI reporting requirements for company needs, building data models, and creating visualizations to tell a story.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of organization BI infrastructure and data resources
• Build a LookML model to support ad hoc analysis by one or more subject matter experts
• Become point of contact for one or more organizational subject matter experts
• Achieve expert-level proficiency in the use of both Looker and Snowflake
• Be comfortable with the process of supporting SME’s in the full life cycle of gathering requirements through delivering a fully documented solution

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience data modeling, BI dashboard design, or analytics experience
• Technical requirements:
  • Extensive experience with data modeling and warehouse architecture
  • Proficiency with visualization frameworks (Looker preferred)
  • Expertise with SQL (any dialect)
  • Experience with Salesforce, Python, R, Excel, or javascript (D3.js)
• Experience working cross-functionally
  • Experience working with agile software development teams
  • Experience building consensus with senior leadership
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growth environment
• Broad industry experience preferred (data science, tech, life sciences, etc.)
