Business Data Analyst
Payfactors is looking for a self-motivated, energetic Business Data Analyst to join our fast-growing company and make an immediate impact. This individual will work with our Peer and Data Operations teams to play a key role in the mining, cleaning, and analysis of compensation data in support of new and existing client-facing data products.
The successful candidate will be a highly flexible, self-starter, results-oriented, independent quick thinker. They should possess the technical skills necessary for data mining and analysis and the interpersonal skills to communicate their findings to decision markers at all levels of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Own and drive various data analysis projects
Analyze large volumes of data to identify and communicate meaningful trends
Assist in the design and development of new or enhanced custom compensation data products or solutions
Ensure the accuracy and quality of data sets by performing thorough and complex data analysis and validation
Determine, recommend and implement appropriate technologies needed to automate manual processes (including SQL, Python, Visual Basics, R studios, Tableau, etc.)
Work cross functionally throughout the company to provide assistance on and/or insight to ongoing data analysis projects
Requirements/Skills:
2-4 years’ experience with data analysis
Data visualization skills (Tableau experience preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Python
Strong technical and analytical skills
Able to manage multiple project and timelines and complete tasks quickly
Ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment
Desire to be the best, with a positive work attitude and inquisitive nature
Bachelor’s degree in related field required
