As a Business Analyst at Bullhorn, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, developing use cases, drafting functional and technical specifications, and proposing technical solutions for new and existing clients. Why this job is important:
The Business Analyst works closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers and the development team to build solutions that meet customers needs and delight users. They help ensure teams are working on the right things at the right time by providing detailed information about customer pain points and helping define solutions to problems.
As a Business Analyst, a typical day might include:
Working with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers & Developers to help gather, assess and analyze business requirements Writing user stories and working with the development team for story planning, grooming, sprint planning & delivery
Documenting use cases and user workflows
Organizing, synthesizing and presenting data
Summarizing research findings Developing, maintaining, and evolving enablement guides and training materials
Writing release documentation & enablement training materials for cross-functional teams on new product features
This job might be for you if:
You have 1+ years demonstrated experience in software projects in a technical or business analysis role.
You enjoy collaborating with a team and have experience with Agile methodologies
Have experience documenting business processes Have strong problem solving skills and are a self-starter
Are incredibly organized, detail-oriented and milestone driven
Make fact-based decisions, documenting options and approaches and communicating them succinctly
Have strong verbal, written, organizational, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills.
You like dissecting challenges and coming up with solutions
You have some technical chops, potentially from being a developer, QA engineer or support analyst in the past
Bonus points for:
Experience working in an Enterprise B2B SaaS-based organization
Strong Excel or Google Sheets experience
Scrum Product Owner experience or CSPO certification
Experience with web analytics applications
Experience managing a backlog in Jira
Project planning experience
An undergraduate technical degree
Experience with Bullhorn products
Experience in the staffing and recruiting industry
