Billing Operations Analyst

The Billing Operations Analyst will be a key member of our growing operations team at Fuze. You will be responsible for a large variety of tasks to include; optimizing our internal processes for delivering customer invoices and responding to customer billing requests. You will be accountable for improving our ability to deliver accurate invoicing and collect our receivables. This role will provide an opportunity to participate in special cross-functional projects that will allow for significant professional growth.
What you'll do:
- Identify challenges/issues and provide feedback to refine and improve processes on an ongoing basis
- High level analysis of open billing requests to improve internal processes
- Perform research on potential improvements to billing and collections tooling and software
- Partner with the Fuze billing team to implement and enable improvement
- Effectively manage our queue of billing tickets with the billing team
- Collaborate and communicate with internal customers, peers and other departments (i.e. Sales, Customer Success, Support) to ensure organizational and customer commitments are met
- Participate in special projects requiring the input of the Finance and Billing Teams
What you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree required (accounting background a plus)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable speaking directly with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Ability to positively and comfortably handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Google Docs, and Adobe PDF
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Salesforce experience a plus
