IT Support Specialist (Part-time)
The role
This is a part-time role that will require between 12-20 hours a week.
As an IT Support Specialist at MedTouch, you’ll be responsible for supporting the company’s most valuable resource, our people! You’ll leverage your computer skills and problem-solving abilities to tackle account management, workstation, and help desk requests.
You will:
- Support the technology critical to the users and infrastructure of MedTouch including workstation imaging, troubleshooting, and refurbishment.
- Gain experience supporting a multitude of applications, such as Jira and Office365.
- Assist users in resolving everyday issues, sometimes engaging directly to solve quickly or escalating to other members of the IT team.
- Help our onboarding process by configuring new user accounts and permissions, helping ensure their experience is supportive and excellent.
- Resolve or triage help desk tickets.
The fit
The job is just right if you have:
- Some previous experience with Windows Operations systems.
- A working knowledge of computer hardware components.
- Persistence in troubleshooting and a drive to uncover and resolve the root issue of a problem.
- An appreciation for people and natural inclination to provide exceptional customer service.
Bonus points
- An understanding of basic enterprise networking theory and hardware.
