IT Portfolio Consultant
In this role, you will:
Key roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
GDPR Activities:
- Gain an understanding of employee/contractor onboarding processes at MM; identify & implement process improvements where it makes sense
- Help to simplify the GDPR compliance requirements for MM US
- Work with the MM Romania DPO to help US Managers understand GDPR and the implications to their business processes
- Use GDPR knowledge to provide hypercare support to MM Romania HR and Tech Services during onboarding and for access issues/escalation
- Develop a network of key contacts to navigate MM to get issues resolved; partner with onboarding, firewall and tech support teams
- Support new MM Romania supplier engagements
- Gain an understanding of data feed processing to downstream vendors
- Maintain the GDPR Application Endpoints Master spreadsheet (Teams) that documents GDPR reviews in progress/completed/to start
- When new endpoints arise, gather information on sub processors
- Submit new Procurement Service Requests (MAX)
- Consult with Procurement and Law as needed to get Data Processing Agreements signed
- Build working relationship with MMRO Data Protection Officer, Compliance and Data Privacy teams
- Help operationalize GDPR at MM
Workforce Planning Activities:
- Effectively execute on the workforce planning strategy and its various elements
- Act as a workforce and planning individual contributor and liaison between MM HQ Leaders and GCCs and play a supporting role in transitioning work program to GCCs. Serve as a point of contact between the GCCs, MM Delivery Leaders, and Vendor Partners for resource requirements, issue escalation, and feedback loops.
- Work with Technology leaders and managers to convert commitments made to a workforce transition strategy and plan. This effort involves engaging with every leader and identifying the projects, programs, functions and resources can effectively be aligned to the GCCs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Delivery Leaders across the enterprise to understand their delivery roadmaps and resource needs
- Collaborate with various departments and leaders. Educate about GCCs, identify opportunities for GCCs and emphasize improvement of resource utilization in GCCs
- Develop and maintain GCC Workforce Planning pipelines and drive GCC resource utilization
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendor partners to ensure skillsets needed to support GCCs workload are on-boarded within SLA
- Generate and share GCC Workforce Planning pipeline status reporting & reviews
- Provide Forecasting around projects, resources, migration, rebadging along with budgeting needs for GCCs
- Review and refine recruitment needs and strategies in close collaboration with the GCC leadership to include identifying new pools of talent from which we can draw a diverse set of candidates. Collaborate with GGC Leadership in budget planning and budget tracking.
- Predict hiring needs and subsequently manage and maintain a steady stream of open job requisitions in each geography and work closely with GCC HR/TA teams in opening job requisitions in advance of attrition to ensure continuity of service for stakeholders
- Manage all aspects of headcount budgeting as it relates to approved hires, advance hires, special project hires, keeping business operations and leadership apprised in a timely manner
- Provide accurate and timely, benchmarked workforce information to the organization leaders to support decision-making and planning
- Inspect and manage all aspects of requirements from various leaders/groups and act as a gate in close coordination with the GCC and HQ leadership team to maximize effective allocation of resources and insure hiring the right teams for right efforts
- Work closely with SPD and Finance teams to establish the month over month savings, savings forecast and track the actuals
- Establish regular cadence with MM Leadership team to adopt or share best practices where staffing is concerned, including creation of or changes to in critical jobs
- Identify and address workforce challenges within MM and predict future challenges that we may face
- Develop Forecasting & Scheduling models to predict the future workforce needs
- Evaluate utilization of workforce management software to forecast the resource needs, workload and schedule
- Follow direction and execute various workforce planning tasks
- Communicate necessary real time and proactive adjustments to workforce plan based on changing/dynamic forecasts and re-forecast when necessary
- Analyze workload, vacation, training, meeting and coaching schedules for on-going historical trend analysis and planning and forecasting purposes
The skills that make you a great fit.
- Minimum of 8 years of IT Portfolio Management or IT Project/ Program Management experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience working with various outsourcing models
- Understand of GDPR fundamentals
- Ability to design, execute and manage workforce initiatives and operations
- Able to interpret and follow directions, ask questions and fully execute on critical tasks
- Prior financial planning experience
- Ability to work east coast hours
- Ability to travel to Springfield, MA and Boston, MA on a quarterly basis
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, skilled in writing requirements and documentation preferred
- Skilled in modelling and data analytics; able to analyze data and develop actionable insights preferred
