Director of Information Security

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated leader to own Information Security. In this highly visible role you will be hands-on, working multi-functionally with the IT operations, development, service delivery, legal, and compliance teams to ensure the infrastructure, systems, and processes are designed, implemented, and operated in accordance with applicable security standards and practices.
What You'll Do:
- You'll drive information security vision and direction for customer-facing and internal services and infrastructure projects
- Spearhead compliance efforts to align with and achieve industry standards and requirements including SSAE 16, HIPAA, FCC, ISO 27001, Privacy Shield and GDPR
- Manage and mentor a well-established, intelligent team of security professionals
- Your outstanding risk analysis skills will enable you to analyze threats to information assets and inform the accountable stakeholders to create controls to mitigate risks
- You'll enable Sales by interfacing directly with customers and prospects to educate them on Fuze’s security posture
- Your ability to effectively collaborate with product, infrastructure, tech services, legal, and compliance allows you to understand and secure system data flows and services
- Accurately assess and quickly respond to information security inquiries or incidents across endpoints, in co-located and cloud environments, and bring issues to full resolution
- You will be the evangelist of training and awareness campaigns for Information Security across Fuze
- Establish a robust security testing methodology including SDLC checks and balances, regular vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing
What You Have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years hands-on security experience
- Demonstrable experience and success leading an information security team for a cloud service provider
- Professional experience with SSAE 16 (SOC), HIPAA, FCC, and ISO 27001
- Communication is one of your core strengths: You are a patient and effective communicator of complex concepts to audiences with varying skill levels, in person, on the phone, and via email
- Experience procuring and deploying enterprise-grade security solutions and tools that effectively manage, identify, and mitigate against the full threat landscape
- Working understanding of networking concepts and protocols (BGP, TCP/IP layers, DNS, SMTP, SSL, etc.)
