Devo is a privately held, hyper-growth SaaS company, and we are looking for a Senior Manager of Content Strategy to drive our content strategy and creation. 

As a member of the Corporate Marketing team, you’ll serve as our internal expert on all things content to ensure we’re producing compelling, engaging and high-quality content and effectively promoting it to reach our goals. You’ll manage our content writers and oversee any agencies and freelancers developing content on our behalf. You’ll work closely with our Product Marketing team to develop product- and solution-focused content, our Demand Gen team to deliver lead-gen pieces, and our internal subject matter experts on thought leadership content.

While you have an eye for grammar and punctuation, we’re looking for someone who can go beyond copywriting and editing. You ask the right questions before starting to work on a piece of content: Who is the target audience? What do we want them to take away from this? How will this be disseminated? How can we extend the reach and impact of this beyond the original ask?

A positive, ambitious, tenacious, and can-do attitude is a must, while also being able to have fun while disrupting the cybersecurity market.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Devos’ internal expert on all things content, from the narrative to the format
  • Develop and execute on a comprehensive content strategy, taking into account target audiences, the demand funnel and product/solution offerings
  • Develop content promotion plans for cornerstone pieces of content, such as the Devo SOC Performance Report and analyst research, working with our social, demand gen and PR teams
  • Oversee the creation of content pieces, including product collateral, ebooks, video, blogs, web pages, case studies and email
  • Manage our in-house content writers and oversee content projects with external agencies and partners
  • Work with our subject matter experts to translate their thoughts into compelling, easily digestible content that can be used across PR, social and our blog
  • Own the Devo content calendar and project manage content request submissions
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of published content
  • Work with Marketing Operations team to develop benchmarks and metrics to measure the effectiveness of our content

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in the high-tech/SaaS industry, with 3+ years of experience managing a team. Cybersecurity experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in content creation and strategy, with a focus on owned and paid content
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Excellent project management skills - experience with Monday.com or comparable PM tool a plus
  • Success working with cross-functional teams and external partners/agencies
  • The ability to be flexible and agile while balancing competing priorities
