Policy and Procedure Writer, Membership Services

As a Membership Services Policy & Procedure Writer at WHOOP, you’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality policies, procedures, forms, and other supporting documents to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand format. You will join our talented Change Management team and will work collaboratively to document and communicate our policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for our team of Membership Services Representatives to follow to best serve our members.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, research, write, and update policy and procedure documents.
- Work across the broader team to ensure alignment and approval for any policy and process change projects
- Act as a project leader in all phases of change management and implementation, and ensure all related objectives are fulfilled for each project.
- Maintain relationships and coordination with cross-functional partners for new or updated policies & launches, including Human Resources, Legal, Operations, and others
- Maintain and track changes to policy and process libraries to ensure they are a living reference source
- Understand operational concepts and translate them into writing.
- Initiate and manage our documentation approval process; driving documentation through compliance, senior management, and subject matter experts to gain proper approval.
- Maintain partnerships with business units to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, accurate, and effective documentation that meets project requirements
- Escalate roadblocks to Management for resolution.
- Maintain a detailed audit trail and proper publication approvals for archive and audit purposes
- Maintain project tracking mechanism for management reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and writing experience.
- Minimum 2+ years experience writing/formulating policy and procedure documentation
- Excellent knowledge of support operations; exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Effective decision-making skills, sound judgement, and strong technical aptitude
- Strong organization and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on large and small projects, with changing priorities
