THE ROLE:

As the Content Producer, you’ll work with the Site Operations team to build, grow, and operate a portfolio of niche media companies. You’ll support the editorial and business strategy for the websites in our portfolio, and oversee the web publishing systems and entry of content.

Responsibilities:

  • Transfer article text and images to CMS
  • Collaborate with the site operations team to determine the best way to translate content
  • Keep articles updated (i.e. ensure products are in stock) and correct formatting errors
  • Code product links to track affiliate revenue, with guidance from site operations team
  • Assist site operations team in executing content strategy for holiday and tentpole events
  • Optimize articles for search, social, mobile and user experience
  • Create views, goals, tags in Google Analytics Assist with email marketing form/content creation

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Wordpress and/or other content management systems 
  • A passion for the intersection of content and commerce
  • Ability to be nimble and agile, handle a high volume, fast-paced workflows 
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and extremely organized
  • A proofreader’s eye for formatting errors
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus
