Description:

We are seeking dynamic engineers to join our growing Cloud team. All levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on position developing, deploying, and monitoring Blink’s global cloud service.
• Work with our mobile and firmware teams to integrate new products and features into Blink.
• Expand account management to include individualized services.
• Integrate Blink into 3rd party home automation ecosystems.

Qualifications:

• Back-end Solid Ruby, Python, Java, or similar programming skills
• Strong database experience, mySQL preferred
• Comfortable in a Linux development environment with extensive Git usage
• REST experience desireable
• Conversant in security technologies and protocols
• Hands on experience deploying & scaling within AWS 
• (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Cloudwatch)
• Socket-level programming and streaming audio/video experience are major pluses

Required Education:

• BS, MS preferred, in a STEM field with exemplary academic record
