Counting names like Comcast and Flexport among the companies who have turned to its technology, the former Built In Boston “Startup to Watch” honoree boasts varied capabilities like instruction detection, auditing and vulnerability detection. “What sets Uptycs apart is our ability to scale, execute and build a telemetry-powered security analytics platform for the long haul,” Pai wrote in a 2021 announcement of the company’s $50 million Series C round.

Since its entry into the market back in 2016, Uptycs has continued to push forward thanks to multiple rounds of investor funding. Most recently, it shared that it had pulled in a Norwest Venture Partners-led $50 million Series C that was announced in May 2021. “This round will help us continue to evolve our platform to enable enterprises worldwide to secure their endpoint and cloud resources both proactively and reactively,” said Founder and CEO Ganesh Pai in a press release announcing the round, which would be used to fuel ongoing growth and strengthen teams like sales and marketing.
