Over the last few years, Uptycs has added to its team with a handful of notable hires to key positions. For example, in April 2022, the team announced the appointment of CFO Kevin Durkin, an alum of orgs like Deloitte and Cisco and most recently the CFO of ThreatStack. Later in the year, Elias Terman — formerly the SVP of Marketing at Orca Security — joined Uytcs as the company’s chief marketing officer.

Continuing to grow through strong backing

Since its entry into the market back in 2016, Uptycs has continued to push forward thanks to multiple rounds of investor funding. Most recently, it shared that it had pulled in a Norwest Venture Partners-led $50 million Series C that was announced in May 2021. “This round will help us continue to evolve our platform to enable enterprises worldwide to secure their endpoint and cloud resources both proactively and reactively,” said Founder and CEO Ganesh Pai in a press release announcing the round, which would be used to fuel ongoing growth and strengthen teams like sales and marketing.
