The Senior Accessibility Specialist integrates accessibility throughout digital product lifecycles for federal modernization initiatives. Responsibilities include manual and automated testing with assistive technologies, reviewing designs and interfaces, translating Section 508 and WCAG requirements into guidance, recommending remediation, supporting VPATs and compliance documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary Agile teams and federal accessibility offices. The role also contributes to accessible design systems and responsibly applies AI tools to improve evaluations, documentation, and delivery efficiency.

Develop and maintain federal acquisition and policy documentation for the VA Veterans Health Administration. Draft and edit RFPs, PWSs, SOWs, SOOs, acquisition plans, evaluation criteria, policies, SOPs, workflows, and executive communications. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, gather and structure requirements, identify ambiguity and inconsistencies, manage review cycles and comment adjudication, support traceability and configuration control, and translate complex regulations and operational requirements into clear, measurable, actionable documentation.

Develop and evaluate value-based care and Alternative Payment Model initiatives, translating federal health policy into health IT product requirements and solutions. Lead cross-functional teams through product design, testing, implementation, and iteration. Analyze healthcare data and performance metrics, define OKRs, manage stakeholders, and create client-facing reports, presentations, memoranda, and proposals.
