Supabase Benefits Overview

Design, build, and operate distributed platform services and APIs using TypeScript and Go. Improve scalability, reliability, observability, and cost efficiency; develop data-intensive workflows and event-driven pipelines; manage SLIs/SLOs, incident response, CI/CD, and production releases. Partner with product teams on end-to-end delivery, write design documents and tests, and participate in on-call rotations for large-scale systems.

Designs and operates cloud foundations across AWS and GCP, including governance, identity, access controls, infrastructure as code, security primitives, networking, resource inventory, billing visibility, and self-service tooling. The role combines production software engineering, hands-on operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and on-call ownership while enabling engineering teams to provision infrastructure safely and independently.

Own the Supabase Realtime product surface, including Broadcast, Presence, and Postgres Changes. Develop the roadmap, prioritize developer problems, shape user experience with Engineering and Design, and align GTM teams. Manage packaging and pricing, analyze product usage data, and guide Realtime’s evolution for collaborative, event-driven, and AI applications. The role requires strong understanding of full-stack development, real-time synchronization patterns, Postgres, and asynchronous remote collaboration.
