Conduct advanced research and development of Vision-Language-Action models and foundation architectures for robotic manipulation and navigation. Develop multimodal and synthetic data strategies, fine-tune large-scale models, optimize inference for real-time robotic applications, publish research at leading conferences, and collaborate with robotics and hardware teams to deploy AI models on physical platforms.

Operate robotic systems through teleoperation interfaces, train and evaluate operators, establish QA and data-quality standards, maintain SOPs and operational tracking systems, and bridge operator feedback with engineering teams. The role investigates errors and system inconsistencies, supports data collection pipeline improvements, and translates technical guidance into practical workflows. Hands-on teleoperation is a core responsibility, with increasing ownership as the organization scales.

Design and prototype mechanical systems and components for AI-driven robots. Create 3D models and fabrication drawings, run simulations and tests, iterate through hands-on prototyping, coordinate with vendors, and ensure integration with electrical and software systems. Travel ~25% for site visits.

Support cross-departmental strategic initiatives by independently planning and managing projects, optimizing processes, coordinating internal teams and external partners, and preparing reports and presentations to drive efficient implementation and growth.

Design, customize, and deploy robotic applications for industrial use. Debug application-level issues, optimize motion planning and perception, develop task workflows and user tools, conduct onsite testing, provide technical support and training, and document workflows and user guides.

Design, implement, and optimize perception, planning, and control software for mobile manipulators. Build motion planning, trajectory optimization, collision avoidance, sensor fusion, localization, and mapping systems. Integrate software with hardware (arms, grippers, sensors), use ROS 2 and simulation tools, and ensure real-time, production-ready performance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adopt state-of-the-art robotics and ML methods.

Lead product lifecycle for an embodied AI robotics product, owning roadmap, AI/model criteria, field deployments, KPIs, and cross-functional execution between R&D, engineering, and customers to scale autonomous systems across production sites.

Lead mechanical design for AI-driven robots: create 3D models and fabrication drawings, run simulations and testing, optimize for manufacturability, provide hands-on technical leadership to technicians, coordinate vendors and procurement, and ensure integration with electrical and software systems.
