Lead evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and management of licensing, partnerships, co-development, platform transactions, and strategic collaborations. Coordinate cross-functional diligence (R&D, CMC, clinical, regulatory, legal, IP, finance, commercial), build valuation and financial frameworks, negotiate term sheets and definitive agreements, manage partner relationships and post-signing governance, and support executive and Board-level decision-making and strategic planning.

Lead an MSAT team to support Phase I manufacturing of PSC-derived pancreatic islet cell therapy, drive technology transfer to a CDMO, provide people-in-plant coverage, oversee manufacturing execution, author IND CMC sections, lead investigations, and collaborate with Quality and Supply Chain to enable batch disposition and process improvements.

Lead day-to-day analytical laboratory operations for cell therapy programs: manage routine testing (flow cytometry, cell-based assays), equipment lifecycle, ELN documentation, staffing and development, assay performance monitoring, lab buildout support, and drive continuous improvement and cross-functional prioritization in a regulated environment.

Lead a small MSAT team to execute technology transfer and support phase I manufacturing of PSC-derived pancreatic islet cell therapy. Provide on-site technical coverage at CDMO, oversee operator training, draft CMC regulatory content, troubleshoot and lead investigations, collaborate with Quality and PD for batch disposition and comparability, and mentor team members.

The MSAT Engineer supports technology transfers, authoring technical documents, overseeing clinical manufacturing, troubleshooting, and collaborating with teams for process improvement.
